Receipts

Drag the handle. Same house, six weeks apart.

The Whitfield place in Centennial took golf-ball hail in May. Full tear-off, Class 4 impact shingles, new gutters, paid by their carrier minus the deductible.

Storm-damaged roof before replacement
assets/img/ba-01-before.jpg 1600 × 1000 BEFORE: same house, same camera position. Aged, hail-battered grey roof — missing shingles, bare patches, sagging gutter, dull overcast light.
The same roof after full replacement
assets/img/ba-01-after.jpg 1600 × 1000 AFTER: identical framing and angle. Brand new dark charcoal Class 4 shingle roof, crisp ridge cap, new bronze gutters, bright sunny day. Must match the BEFORE shot's camera position exactly.

Three companies told me I needed a full replacement. Ironcrest found two cracked boots and charged me $340. That is the whole review.

The May hail wrecked us. They met my State Farm adjuster on the roof, caught about $9,000 in missed line items, and had the new roof on within six weeks. I would not have known to argue any of it.

Crew showed at 6:30, gone by 5, and I could not find a single nail in the grass afterwards. My wife checked. Twice. With a magnet of her own.

Excellent roof, genuinely fair price, and the foreman answered every dumb question I had. Docking a star because scheduling slipped twice and I had to chase for the dates. The actual work was flawless.

Four different companies knocked on my door the week after the storm. Ironcrest was the only one who said my roof was fine and I did not have a claim worth filing. Called them a year later when I actually did.

Our basement flooded every spring for four years. Turned out to be two downspouts dumping straight against the foundation. They re-routed them in an afternoon. Dry basement ever since.

They found rotten decking under the old shingles and charged me the actual cost of the plywood. Showed me the receipt without being asked. Small thing, but it is the reason I have recommended them to six neighbours.

The repair itself has held up fine through two winters. But it took three visits to sort out and nobody called me between the first and second. Good work, patchy communication.

Metal roof on a 1912 bungalow with a nightmare of dormers and valleys. Two other firms flat refused the job. Ironcrest took three days and it looks like it was always meant to be there.

How we handle reviews

We ask every customer for a review after sign-off, and we ask the unhappy ones too. Nothing on this page has been edited, incentivised or removed. If we got something wrong, the review stays up and our reply stays under it.
