Our process is
simple and effective

Six stages, a fixed price agreed before anything is dug, and the same crew from clearance through to handover. Here is exactly what happens at each stage and what you get out of it.

Step by step

From first call
to finished garden

Each stage has a defined output. You always know what is coming next and what it will cost.

01

Site visit & measure up

We walk the plot with you for about an hour. Soil gets tested, light and drainage get noted, levels get measured. You will get straight answers on what will and will not work in your conditions — including when the honest answer is that you do not need us.

Design & fixed quote

Within two weeks you get a drawn plan, a 3D visual, a named planting list and one fixed price broken down line by line. Two rounds of revisions are included, and nothing is ordered until you have signed the drawing off.

03

Programme & prep

You get dated start and finish days before anyone turns up. We arrange access, protect the routes we will be wheeling over, confirm the skip and set up on-site power and water so day one is not spent solving logistics.

Build & hard landscaping

Clearance, excavation, sub-base, drainage, then the structures. This is the part nobody sees once it is finished and the part everything else depends on, so it is the part we refuse to rush.

05

Planting & finishing

Soil is conditioned before a single plant goes in. Everything is set out on the ground for you to see and adjust before it is planted, then mulched, watered in and staked where it needs it.

Handover & aftercare

You get a written care schedule, the full planting list with names, warranty paperwork and a six-week check-in visit. From there you can take it on yourself or put it on a maintenance round — no pressure either way.

Our promises

Four things we put
in writing

Not marketing lines — these are on the quote you sign.

The price cannot move

The only thing that changes a fixed quote is you changing the brief. Discover a buried oil tank? That is our problem to price, not yours.

The dates cannot slip

Booked dates are held dates. If we overrun for any reason that is not weather or your change of mind, the next visit is free.

The crew cannot change

The people who start your garden are the people who finish it. No handing you to a subcontractor halfway through.

The plants are guaranteed

Two years on everything we plant. If it fails and it is not neglect or drought-by-hosepipe-ban, we replace it free.

Questions

What people ask
about how we work

01 Do I have to be home while you work?

No. Plenty of our clients are away for the whole build. You get a daily photo album and a site manager on the end of a phone, and we will agree access and key arrangements before day one.

02 What if I want to change something mid-build?

Say so early and it is usually straightforward. We price the change in writing before touching it, so you always see the cost impact before agreeing rather than finding it on the invoice.

03 Who is actually on my site?

Our own employed crew, led by a named site manager. We do not subcontract the build. Tree work is done by our NPTC-qualified surgeons, also in-house.

04 How do payments work?

A deposit on signing to lock the dates and cover materials, a stage payment when the hard landscaping is signed off, and the balance on handover. No payment is ever due for work not yet done.

05 What happens if something fails later?

Call us. Plants carry a two-year guarantee and structures carry ten years on workmanship. We come and look before asking any questions about whose fault it was.
